Tool box demo

Tool Box Demo

We started out drawing a box, and had inset the top and extruded it down to create the box, we then duped the box and shortened it and spun it round to create the lid, from here we had drawn a handle, and a padlock shape and extruded them to create the shape. we added them on and had then chamfered the edges to make them look a little more rounded.

We had then applied the UVWeditor and had opened the maps up in both the editor and the program and matched the skins to the model.

I had also not used the correct bitmap while opening the files, and had to change to normal bitmap, there as you can see is a considerable difference in the quality.

After applying everything the toolbox starts to show, and we then continued to animate the lid using Hierarchy and placing spanners inside.

We then continued to go on to do a animation using a car we modelled in our 3D street.

we did this by using the motion tab after importing our modelled car into the scene and playing with the settings to attach the car to a drawn line and having it follow.

This is turn created a brief animation of a car racing around the city. using 3DS Max animation which can be seen from side port view below.
